For example: We want to
test whether the level of air pollution in terms of Suspended Particulate
Matter (SPM) for the year 2017 is higher than that of 2016. We analyze this on
the basis daily data of SPM collected March – April (dry seasons) at a specific
time say between 12:00 hours – 14:00 hour, for year 2017 and 2016. The choice of Null and Alternative Hypothesis are explained in detail in the image below.
